Now in our second year

Virtual Worlds Forum

2008 Wrapup

So VWF 2008 did not go quite to plan...

However, after a change of venue, we pulled off a day of ad hoc networking at Virtual Worlds Unplugged, our unconference held at The Hospital private members club. Great business was done there, and during the SXSW party. We thank the whole virtual worlds community for your support. Check out the links below for photos:

Location information

Back in London for the second fabulous year, the “bigger and better” Virtual Worlds Forum Europe 2008 will be held at The Bridge London SE1. The setting: a series of historic arches. The conversation: the future of enterprise, entertainment, education and virtual worlds.

Located just beneath London Bridge station – a few moments walk - The Bridge is situated in a series of Victorian arches adjacent to the historic London Bridge site, dating back to the early nineteenth century, right in between The City of London and Southwark – you can’t get a more central location.  Since being reincarnated as a club and venue for meetings and events with a twist, the Bridge offers an unrivalled location for networking, learning, doing business and thought-provoking conversation.

And just like last year, the Virtual Economic Forum will be creating an innovative immersive space to enable you to do business. This is a congress and expo like no other.

London Bridge is fast becoming one of the most dynamic areas of London, with its thriving business district, emerging arts and media sector and proximity to many tourist attractions. You’re moments away from the Tate Modern, the Monument and The Mayflower (although you may be too busy to visit them).
The central location and excellent transport links lend a charismatic backdrop to Europe’s major virtual worlds event. We look forward to welcoming you to London.
